Organization: SWIM (ended 2014)

SWIM is a transmedia initiative launced by CPH:DOX to stimulate innovation and new ways of thinking within media in the Region of Øresund. 

SWIM focuses on growth and development and through collaboration and synergies across Øresund, SWIM supports the new industry and ways of storytelling. The goal is to create an interntional hub for transmedia productions and to brand Øresund as being one of the most attractive regions in the world within innovative media.

Different activities

Every year SWIM hosts different activities as e.g. SWIM Lab – a developing program containing a 3 weeks workshop, SWIM Tank – which discuss new structures of production, distribution, funding and alternative financing, and at last the SWIM Conference and Forum – a hub where participants and experts meet and share knowledge on new media cases, research, tools and methoods.

The project is a collaboration between CPH:DOX, New Danish Screen, Film i Skåne and BoostHbg and is co-financed by Interreg IVA.
