Kunstnerisk tilgang / Artistic approach

English version below.

The artistic approach is based on the student’s artistic work or project.

The teaching is organized on the basis of the student’s personal artistic projects. The teaching will often take the form of counseling, coaching and mentoring or other activities that are directly linked to the individual project, for example business planning or fundraising.

CASE: The boy who never leaves home

Julian Juhlin, formerly scenography students at the Danish National School of Performing Arts, received in 2014 individual advice in connection with fundraising of the artistic project ‘the boy who never leaves home’.

The project was in a gray area between the artistic, performative and the performing arts, and the challenge was, inter alia, in assessing whether funds for the project would be sought from the artistic or performing arts groups as well as getting the project idea and vision communicated clearly and precisely to the funds.

Julian received in March 2015 support from the Danish Arts Foundation – project support committee for the performing arts for adults. ‘The boy who never leaves home’ was shown as part of the Metropolis Festival and had more than 600 visitors.
